Cherries

Cheers to cherries!

We first started growing cherries in 2008 and have gradually increased production over the years. However, in 2026, we’ve made the difficult decision to stop producing cherries commercially.

Since stepping away from commercial blueberry production, it has become increasingly challenging to find a viable route for our small cherry crop. The cherry season is very short, and with only a limited volume, it has been hard to make it profitable without significant further investment.

As we work out the future of the farm, the trees are still bearing fruit. So, similarly to the blueberries, we’ll be running Pick Your Own cherry days to help ensure the fruit doesn’t go to waste, while raising funds for local community groups and charities.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our cherries over the years.

Our Community Pick Your Own Blueberries

Although we no longer grow blueberries commercially, the bushes continue to produce wonderful fruit each summer. Rather than letting them go to waste, we’ve been opening the farm for our Community Pick Your Own Blueberry Days, with all proceeds supporting local charities and community groups.

2026 marks our 5th year of Community Pick Your Own Blueberries. Thanks to the incredible support of our visitors, we’ve raised over £80,000 for local causes so far, and we’re hoping to reach the £100,000 milestone this season.

Find out more and book your visit on our Pick Your Own Blueberries page.
