Pick your own

BLUEBERRIES

Since 2022, our Pick Your Own Blueberry sessions have raised over £50,000 for more than 60 local community groups and charities. We’re excited to be returning for a fourth year, with picking starting on 29th August 2025.

Every penny raised goes straight to local causes, and each year we aim to beat the total from the last. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, gather some delicious berries, and give back to the community.

Spread the word, bring your friends, and come get involved this autumn!

It is important to listen to where you are asked to pick so we know where has been picked and what can be picked next.

We’ve been growing blueberries on our farm for over 20 years. In the early 2010s, we expanded significantly, planting several acres to meet growing demand. However, with increased imports from countries like Peru and South Africa, supermarket prices dropped to levels that made our blueberry business unsustainable.

In 2022, we made the decision to stop supplying supermarkets and instead opened our fields to the public for charity and community group picking days. That year, we raised over £12,000. In 2023, we topped £15,000, and in 2024, we reached an incredible £23,000.

We’re proud of what this has become—a way to support local causes while sharing the joy of fresh, farm-grown fruit.

Join us again in 2025 as we aim to raise even more!
